Followup to "External Hard Drives – A PITA"

Well, I got my SeaGate FreeAgent Pro to work, although not exactly the way I had planned. After purchasing an eSATA PCI Card from Sonnet, I found a few posts on many different forums complaining that the eSATA connection for all of the FreeAgent Pro drives were not working up to par at all. With this, I caved in and purchased an Allegro 2.0 USB PCI Card instead.

Now I’m problem free and not looking back. Only took about a month to get this up and working, but with experience comes knowledge, I suppose.
