Direct Mail, my favorite app for delivering HTML newsletters and emails, has just released a superfly Pro version of it’s amazing software. As soon as I got the email yesterday morning, I was on their site reading about the new features and updating my software to the Pro version.
Among a list of new features is one that I have been long awaiting: Multiple SMTP Account Support. Now I can send email from multiple email accounts without having to go into the Preferences section and switch out all of the email information when I need to send an email for a different client.
Here is a longer list of features:
Composing
Styled Email
Hand-Crafted HTML
Previews
International Character Support
Mail-Merge Tags
PHP Support
Junk Mail Scanner
Addressing
Flexible Importing
Automated Subscriber Groups
Inbox Scanning
Blacklists
Multiple SMTP Account Support
Group Collaboration
Delivery and Reporting
e3 Delivery Service
Email Tracking
Flexible Delivery Options

Email Tracking
One of the best new features, Email Tracking, is a great asset to this program and something that I think increases its value tenfold. This feature allows you to read data that is relevant to different email campaigns that you might be sending out. Here are just some of the statistics that Direct Mail can track after you’ve sent a message:
• Who opened your message (and how many times)
• Who clicked what links in your message (and how many times)
• Number of views or link clicks over time
• Where the recipient was when he/she viewed the message
All in all, I couldn’t be happier with this new version of Direct Mail. Five stars to the team at e3 Software, you’ve done it again!
