Happy Halloween everyone! Just finished coloring this illustration that I did a while back (I’m not even going to mention how long this has been in the ‘To Do’ pile), and I wanted to wish everyone out there a Happy Halloween.
Hope you enjoy the illustration, I’ve included a few monsters and one gigantic pumpkin for your viewing pleasure.
Available as a print in my DeviantART Print Shop as well as my RedBubble Print Shop. Enjoy!

I was forwarded a link to a site with some really amazing Jack O’ Lantern sculpts. Sculpts? Well, technically he’s carving these pumpkins, but as the carving isn’t going all the way through the shell of the pumpkin the end result looks more like a relief than a carving. See for yourself, click here to view the entire gallery at Villafane Studios.
My personal favorite is the Predator pumpkin. How awesome is that?!

This is the sequel to my last wallpaper, “Didn’t Even See It Coming“. Same idea, but different items and more fun! What? A skull with a purple mohawk getting decimated by flying anvils and beehives?
This is available as a print from my DeviantART Print Shop.
You can download the full wallpaper package here (7.7MB). If you need help getting your wallpaper set up on your desktop, follow the instructions below.

Announcing On Consecrated Ground: Volume 2, a collaborative horror book featuring short stories and art from a variety of talented individuals. I’m honored to be a part of this book, it’s been really fun to work on a group project such as this.
I played a few roles in the development of this book, designing the cover art and submitting some of my recent work to be included. The following works are featured in the book (in no particular order):
Midnight Stumbler
Family Portrait
Scarlet the Destroyer
Mortar of Apocalypse
Behind the Mask
There are two versions of the book, one in full color and the other in black and white. The full color version retails at $41.95 and comes with the black cover (shown), while the black and white version retails at $13.95 comes with the white cover.

I’m very excited, I just opened a new Print Shop over at RedBubble - man I love that site! They really have their act together and though I love DeviantART I must say that I like the way you can customize your store over at RedBubble.
Enough of that, though. My new Print Shop features all of my artwork and will be continually updated as I come out with new stuff, which I’m hoping to start doing on a more regular basis so stay tuned.
Check out the shop!

New illustration that I did for an upcoming collaborative project. I like the way it turned out, it’s a bit monochromatic and I actually dig how dark it is.
I’ll mention the collaborative project when it launches, so stay tuned. Until then, this is available in my new Print Shop. Get it while it’s hot!

I was fooling around in my sketchbook the other day and realized that the stuff I was doodling could inevitably be a really cool illustration piece so I put a bunch of ideas into it and came up with this ironically humorous piece that I call “Didn’t Even See It Coming”. I had so much fun that I may have to do another and make a series out of this idea.
I posted it in my new Print Shop as a print, so if you want some awesome work for your walls, be sure to check out the shop.
I’m also making this available as a wallpaper. I tested it on my desktop and it actually looks pretty cool so hopefully you’ll all like it. As a new addition to my wallpaper gallery, I also made an iPhone version for those of you who own one. Enjoy!

Graphic designer Abduzeedo posted about the new Joker action figure on their blog and I had to write a little about it myself. The likeness of Heath Ledger is uncanny, and the use of actual cloth really makes this piece stand out. I recall seeing this figure at the New York City Comicon last spring, and it’s even more amazing in real life. The photos aren’t far from the truth, however, and any fan of the series or even action figures in general will be jealous of anyone they know who owns this intricate figure.
The figure is made by Hot Toys and comes with a bunch of great accessories including two different head styles, a mask, a case full of grenades, money, cards, and much more. It hasn’t hit the shelves yet, but when it does I’ll be waiting in line.

Just finished coloring my latest piece (although I actually sketched this about 5 years ago on a city bus on the way home from art school), and it’s looking pretty good.
My original thought on this as I drew it was that this guy needed a big frickin’ gun. No, wait.. a HUGE frickin’ gun! The kind that would, in no way, be able to be supported by his weight alone. In fact, the gun-to-guy weight ratio balance would be off so badly that he would be lying on his back in about a second. But, this isn’t real life, and nothing even says this is an illustration of anything from our universe so maybe he’s on another planet or something. Yeah, that’s it..
Overall, I’m happy with the way this turned out. I originally didn’t plan on adding in the smoke or spark effects, but I thought it needed something more so I started playing around with smoke and that eventually led to a much larger idea: the character seems to be literally ripping apart or on the verge of exploding. Very cool.
I’m working on improving my coloring speed and overall composition, so hopefully you’ll enjoy this latest addition to my illustration/print portfolio.
You can view the work in detail and purchase prints either at my DeviantART Print Shop, or my RedBubble Store. Enjoy!
