I recently finished working on a great Wordpress-driven site called Software Galaxy. The site needed to have a strong CMS, so we decided on Wordpress and it turned out to be a great learning experience because we pushed my the limits of my knowledge on how to incorporate Wordpress as a full CMS instead of just a blog setup. With the use of some great plugins we were able to get this site very search friendly as well, so that’s a huge bonus.
The Software Galaxy project actually started with a logo design and then moved into the site design and development. Here’s how the logo turned out:

I’ve heard many times that my logo is “cool”, “tight”, “awesome”, and “wicked”, but never before would I have thought that it was loved by someone so much that it would make a stellar tattoo. Never before now, that is!
While visiting my wife’s family over Thanksgiving, my father-in-law surprised me with what I thought at first to be a temporary tattoo of my logo. After a quick double take and a touch to ensure that it was real, I couldn’t believe that what I was looking at was a real tattoo of my logo on his leg.
What an honor! Free advertising, right? I’ll have to start up a commission fund for the work I’ll be receiving from this lifelong “adspace” I just gained. Makes me wonder if I should get one..
The goal of this logo was to create a contemporary visual that represented a new type of wireless technology.

Bonxo.com is an online music community site that allows people to post their music for others to download, comment on, and purchase. The idea behind this logo was a simple yet strong brand that would prove timeless.
