Happy Halloween everyone! Just finished coloring this illustration that I did a while back (I’m not even going to mention how long this has been in the ‘To Do’ pile), and I wanted to wish everyone out there a Happy Halloween.
Hope you enjoy the illustration, I’ve included a few monsters and one gigantic pumpkin for your viewing pleasure.
Available as a print in my DeviantART Print Shop as well as my RedBubble Print Shop. Enjoy!

This is the sequel to my last wallpaper, “Didn’t Even See It Coming“. Same idea, but different items and more fun! What? A skull with a purple mohawk getting decimated by flying anvils and beehives?
This is available as a print from my DeviantART Print Shop.
You can download the full wallpaper package here (7.7MB). If you need help getting your wallpaper set up on your desktop, follow the instructions below.

New illustration that I did for an upcoming collaborative project. I like the way it turned out, it’s a bit monochromatic and I actually dig how dark it is.
I’ll mention the collaborative project when it launches, so stay tuned. Until then, this is available in my new Print Shop. Get it while it’s hot!

I was fooling around in my sketchbook the other day and realized that the stuff I was doodling could inevitably be a really cool illustration piece so I put a bunch of ideas into it and came up with this ironically humorous piece that I call “Didn’t Even See It Coming”. I had so much fun that I may have to do another and make a series out of this idea.
I posted it in my new Print Shop as a print, so if you want some awesome work for your walls, be sure to check out the shop.
I’m also making this available as a wallpaper. I tested it on my desktop and it actually looks pretty cool so hopefully you’ll all like it. As a new addition to my wallpaper gallery, I also made an iPhone version for those of you who own one. Enjoy!

Go Media has done it again with another amazing addition to their Arsenal in Vector Pack 12. Not only are we treated to seamlessly tiling halftone vector graphics, but we also get Zombies for those horror projects, Linework 2 for more-than-you-can-ask-for retro, and 8 Bit Pixel Art.. in color! This is a new step for them, as every other vector pack to date has been in Black and White, which wasn’t a problem but how can we pass up beautiful ROYGBIV?
Sounds like the folks at Go Media had a blast with this release, illustrating more of these vectors by hand than ever. Here’s what they had to say in their newsletter:
“The 8-bit pack needed to be color in order to get the full effect. So from now on, we’re going to be including color vector packs with every new set!”
Count me in on purchasing that set! Personally, I love the way that Go Media presents their vector sets and I’m a huge fan of them all. No matter what project I’m working on, I can simply look at the designs they present for inspiration even if I don’t use them in the actual design. Go Media’s Arsenal is a must-have for any serious designer’s.. um.. arsenal. Check out what they have to offer and you’ll see why I’m so hyped up about them.

Just finished coloring my latest piece (although I actually sketched this about 5 years ago on a city bus on the way home from art school), and it’s looking pretty good.
My original thought on this as I drew it was that this guy needed a big frickin’ gun. No, wait.. a HUGE frickin’ gun! The kind that would, in no way, be able to be supported by his weight alone. In fact, the gun-to-guy weight ratio balance would be off so badly that he would be lying on his back in about a second. But, this isn’t real life, and nothing even says this is an illustration of anything from our universe so maybe he’s on another planet or something. Yeah, that’s it..
Overall, I’m happy with the way this turned out. I originally didn’t plan on adding in the smoke or spark effects, but I thought it needed something more so I started playing around with smoke and that eventually led to a much larger idea: the character seems to be literally ripping apart or on the verge of exploding. Very cool.
I’m working on improving my coloring speed and overall composition, so hopefully you’ll enjoy this latest addition to my illustration/print portfolio.
You can view the work in detail and purchase prints either at my DeviantART Print Shop, or my RedBubble Store. Enjoy!

Well, that was quick.. I’m a bit flustered.
Thanks for featuring my artwork, RedBubble!
You can view this piece on my DeviantART account or my RedBubble account.

My first Zombie-related illustration (hard to believe I know), but definitely not my last. You can view it on my DeviantART account or my RedBubble account.

This started out as a fun piece for me, and then I went crazy and it turned out really cool. Want a print? Check out the Print Shop to purchase something with this on it, or just to see it up close.
Want to see the image that started it all? This is a photo of me goofing off last summer.. funny how much things can change with a few layers.
